NASHVILLE -- The Tennessee Titans are going to be without numerous starters against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday due to injuries.
OL Nicholas Petit-Frere, OL Daniel Brunskill, CB Sean Murphy-Bunting, and WR Treylon Burks were all ruled out on Friday's injury report. NPF will not count as an inactive because he has been placed on Injured Reserve.
Here's a full look at the inactive list and which seven players won't suit up for Tennessee on Sunday:
- OL Daniel Brunskill
- CB Sean Murphy-Bunting
- WR Treylon Burks
- OLB Caleb Murphy
- WR Colton Dowell
- OLB Rashad Weaver
- QB Ryan Tannehill
Headlining this week's list of inactives is second-year quarterback Malik Willis remaining active on game day with Ryan Tannehill inactive. Tannehill is still working his way back from a high ankle sprain, but will not be available off the bench. Willis will serve as the backup to Will Levis on Sunday.
OLB Rashad Weaver is another notable inactive. The Titans' defensive line has had issues setting the edge against the run. Weaver's production has fallen off from where he was last year, and now he lands on the inactive list for game day.
In other relevant weekend transactions, the Titans signed running back Jonathan Ward and linebacker Chance Campbell to the active 53-man roster earlier this week while elevating DL T.K. McLendon and OL Andrew Rupcich from the practice squad.
Rupcich will provide the Titans some needed depth at tackle with Jaelyn Duncan the first option off the bench. McLendon could receive a similar workload to what the recently waived Naquan Jones had been getting.
